Crazy for the Couture

The doctor says to have a daily serving of juice, correct? Well, you will never believe how much you'll enjoy that serving when you discover the new Juicy Couture line. I'm honestly going weak at the knees over their new fall looks, and I plan on dragging my mom down to Saks sometime this weekend just to "look around" (codeword for shopping my butt off.) I picked out my favorites (basically EVERYTHING).

(1: French Sleeve Minidress. 2: Ruffled Cotton Dress. 3: Pintucked Bib Minidress. 4: Cabled Cashmere/Wool Dress. 5: Wide Leg Trouser Jeans. 6: Hooded Empire Coat. 7: Short Double-Breasted Coat. 8: Hooded Toggle Coat. 9: Platform Mary Jane Pumps. 10: Wool Ballet Slippers. 11: Crested Tall Riding Boots. 12: Daisy Velour Tote Bag.)

Homecoming Help: SOLVED!

Good news everyone! Well, about three weeks ago, I got a date to homecoming. And you all know with that date, comes a dress. So last Saturday I went down to Saks with my friend Lauren, tried on zillions of dresses--belted, haltered, bejeweled and strapless-- and I finally found "the one." I was unable to locate a picture of it, but I'll describe it: It's BCBG Max Azria. It's a black minidress, with a box sleeveless cut. The front has pockets, and is covered in littly tiny sequins. It's adorable, fun and young- just what I wanted. I'm wearing it with black patent leather round-toed pumps. I also want long wavy hair, kind of tossled and sultry so to speak, and a dramatic smoky eye for makeup. I love the concept of it, really nighttime young and fun, and I think the whole look is going to look great. Does it sound cute to you?

Homecoming Help!

My sophomore homecoming is coming up at the end of September. I know, fantastic. It seems simple, right? Well here's the thing: my mom says that I can only get a new dress if I get a date. I am dateless at the moment, which isn't too good, and getting a date is on the top of the priority list. But also, I need to pick the dress that I will get after I get the date, which will happen because I need a new dress. Got it? So i went looking on saksfifthavenue.com because that's where I got my freshman homecoming dress, and I picked out some of my favorites. Comment on the ones you like and dislike, because this is important! And it's not official yet, because for all I know I might end up finding my soulmate dress for $22 at Forever 21.
